We are urgently hiring Service Advisors to join the team at Whiteman Chevrolet! We are a family-owned business and the largest Chevrolet dealership from Clifton Park to the Canadian border. This is a great opportunity for an individual that wants to work at state of the art facility. We want to cultivate the positive experience and valuable service that our community has come to expect from our dealership through the years. At Whiteman Chevrolet we strive to make our interactions with our customers to be positive ones. This candidate interfaces with the customer and is the liaison that communicates the repairs needed to the technicians and the correction needed back to the customer.
Responsibilities
- Greeting customer and recording their service complaint comprehensively and accurately in DMS system
- Monitoring the workflow of the vehicles and communicating throughout the process with the customer
- Takes initiative to exceed customer satisfaction, even if it requires overcoming obstacles
- Understands and complies with federal, state and local regulations such as safety requirements (OSHA, DEC, DMV, etc)
- Uses computer systems (Dealer track, Global Connect, Alldata, etc) to produce and track daily, weekly and monthly documents and reports
- Assists service manager in various duties and tasks
Qualifications
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Performs multiple tasks simultaneously in order to meet and exceed deadlines and expectations
- Presents self as a role model by demonstrating commitment to the service department, customers, dealership and company
- Up-to-date on all service related industry information
