SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for a Service Advisor for our client’s warehouse in Dallas,TX. TPosition will entail standing for long periods of time and lifting up to 50 pounds throughout shift. Successful applicants will be very detail-oriented and able to work with little supervision. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp to perm employees are offered competitive compensation $25.00 as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts include Monday-Friday 7:30am-5pm. Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis.

Duties:
- Initiate equipment services and repairs by ascertaining performance problems and services requested
- Develop estimates, write repair orders, and maintain customer rapport and records
- Ascertain equipment problems and services by listening to customer’s description of symptoms, clarifying description of problems, conducting inspections, checking vehicle maintenance records, and examining service schedules
- Schedule diagnostics with technicians
- Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor
- Calculate customer’s payment, including deductibles
- Prepare repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required
- Obtain approval signatures and enters RO into service database system
- Maintain customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of equipment, obtaining customer’s approval of estimates, obtaining and providing contact telephone numbers, and answering questions and concerns
- Maintain equipment records by recording problems and corrective actions planned
- Participate in educational opportunities and reading manufacturers’ publications
- Scheduling of mobile repairs as well as in-house repairs
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 2-plus years of experience in a service advisor role; strong customer service experience
- Computer and point-of-sale proficiency; technology savvy - (Intermediate Excel)
- Willingness to learn new products and equipment
- Must be a problem-solver with a focus on quality, productivity, safety management, and equipment maintenance
- Experience reporting research results and estimating
- Excellent customer service skills
- Does well in fast pace environments
- Mechanical knowledge
- Excellent telephone skills

- Must be a highly motivated, energetic individual who can positively represent the organization
- Promotability from within; growing organization
- In office role - Monday – Friday 7.30am to 4.30pm
- PTO is accumulated at 1 day per month; benefits offered
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Bilingual in English/Spanish A PLUS
- Must pass local and national criminal background check and drug screen
- Pay grade is 50-60K yearly
