Delamar Hotel & Resort, LLC d/b/a Delamar Traverse City has opening for 7 full time temporary Servers, $18.21/hr ($27.32/hr O.T.) from 4/1/2025 to 10/31/2025. Attend to customers upon entrance; Seat guests, present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages; Take and serve orders; Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products; Issue bills and accept payment; Mix, Pour, and serve beverages, including alcoholic beverages; Ensure all orders are correct before serving to guest; Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order; Clearing tables after guests have depart; Stock bar items, roll silverware, stock any other necessary items to be ready for serve; Sweep, Mop, and closing checklists.
This is a tipped position so wait staff will earn the greater of $5.99 per hour (or the current State of Michigan minimum for tipped employees) plus tips or the wage set forth above.
No exp. req. The specific days and hours of work will vary depending on scheduling and the level of business but will generally be 5 days per week with rotating days off with 2 shifts available, one from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm and one from 4:00 pm to 1:00 am approximately 40 hours per week with some overtime. The business is open 7 days a week. Weekend work will be required. The work location is 615 E. Front Street; Traverse City, MI.

Workers are paid every two weeks. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. The employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law but will make no other deductions. Workers will be eligible for Employee Recognition Programs and will receive one free meal per shift.
Work tools, supplies and equipment will be provided without charge or deposit.
If required by prevailing law the employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees) incurred by the worker. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
The employer has a limited number of housing units available for rent by seasonal workers at a cost to the worker of $600 per month for a single occupancy room or $400 per month for a shared room. A $200.00 housing security deposit is required, $150 is refundable pending no damage and $50 will be retained as a cleaning fee. Use of company housing is not a condition of employment.
Employer will provide a no cost shuttle service to and from the company housing.

If any such prevailing law is rescinded, superseded, vacated, or substantially modified, then the employer will accordingly revise any affected term.
