The opportunity
Delaware North Travel is hiring a full-time or part-time Cocktail Server to join our team at Minneapolis Airport in Saint Paul, Minnesota. As a Cocktail Server, you will use your knowledge of wines, beers, and cocktails to serve a variety of drinks to guests while providing excellent service in every interaction.
Please note this is a tipped position, the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.

What will you do?
+ Greet guests, communicate drink specials, answer questions about available beverages, and take beverage orders
+ Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, request identification, adhere to all unit and company alcohol service policies and procedures
+ Enter drink orders into the point-of-sale system; pick up drink orders and deliver to guests
+ Observe and follow up with guests, ready to provide additional service
+ Prepare and deliver the guest checks; accept and process payment or direct guests to the cashier
+ Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned
More about you
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
+ Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
+ Possess basic knowledge of standard drink recipes and alcohol brand names
+ Basic math skills
Physical requirements
+ Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching and repetitive motions
+ Ability to maneuver between tables and around corners
+ Ability to lift, balance and carry trays, weighing up to 30 pounds
+ Visual acuity and hearing sufficient to take orders and prepare bills
