Server - Hilton Garden Inn Houston Hobby Airport

Will be responsible for taking orders from and serving food to customers with great customer service. Duties will mostly include taking food and drink orders and writing them down on order slips, and ensuring that tables are served properly and that all payments are collected.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a positive attitude and ability work well under pressure with cooks and other staff. Previous work experience involving customer service in a fast-paced environment is greatly desired.

Experience:

• bartending: 1 year (Preferred)
• waitress: 1 year (Preferred)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

License:

• TABC (Required)
• food handler certificate (Required)

• Greeting and seating customers
• Taking orders
• Delivering food
• Busing, cleaning, and resetting tables
• Placing to-go orders
• Prep or side work
• Preparing bill and processing payment
• Cleaning duties such as stocking, sanitizing, sweeping floors, washing dishes
• Reconciling daily cash transactions
