About the Job
As servers at the Statler French American Bistro and Market, you are one of the most recognizable faces of our brand. This position is focused on providing guests with a memorable experience that exceeds all expectations. As such, we are looking for hardworking people with a friendly demeanor and an ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests with eye contact and a smile
- Demonstrate detailed knowledge of menu/bar/wine
- Communicate with guests to ensure satisfaction and resolve complaints
- Clearly explain chef specials and answer questions
- Offer recommendations and up-sell to improve guests' experience
- Carry heavy trays of food and beverages
- Enforce rules and regulations in regard to alcohol consumption/purchase
- Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area
- Provide checks and collect payment from guests
- Follow all health department regulations
- Arrive on time for all shifts, pre-shifts, ready to receive assigned tasks, review menu and event specifics
- Complete all side-work as directed and perform other duties as assigned
- Uphold the integrity of the Joe Vicari Restaurant Group by demonstrating ethical behaviors
