Hostess & Server Assistant
St. Clair Country Club is searching for passionate service staff for our Al A Cart Restaurants.
Located eight miles from downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in the heart of the South Hills, St. Clair Country Club is searching for motivated, reliable, and passionate individuals to add to our dining room service team. We currently have openings for Server Assistants.
Great position for candidates without experience in the food & beverage industry that are looking to gain experience or for those who are not yet 18 years of age that are looking for exposure in preparation for becoming a server or bartender.
With multiple Restaurants, Bars and banquet operations, your development and learning is never ending. The Club is open Tuesday through Sunday during season (April-October) and Wednesday through Sunday during the off-season (October-March). Weekend and holiday availability is also important.
St. Clair is offering fantastic benefits:
- Hourly pay $13/hour
- Starting schedules at 4:30 pm weekdays, earlier start weekends for lunch

Essential Duties of Server Assistant:
- Greets and provides outstanding service with a smile to our members and their guests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Displays teamwork and doing above and beyond to deliver excellent member/guest experience.
- Assists servers in their duties including:
- Make sure tables, chairs, and surrounding areas are detailed and ready for member arrival, including pre-setting water.
- Provides continuous assistance throughout meals including bread service, re-fill water, clear dirty dishes after each course, clear tables at the end of meal, clean and sanitize tables & chairs, and reset tables.
- Remains productive throughout shift with opening/closing side work assigned by Manager.
- Lift and carry up to 15-25 pounds regularly.
