Server Assistant - Aman

This position is located at our (corporate office / property XXXXX) in (Place), (Country).

The Server Assistant with F&B 575 at Aman New York will maintain all dining room environment and equipment, assist servers, anticipates guests’ needs and address them accordingly.

This position is located at our Aman New York Property and has an hourly compensation rate of $16.00 plus tips.

• Check assigned station before, during and after shift for proper set up and cleanliness
• Responsible for the completion of designated side work checklists (both opening and closing)
• Responsible for keeping the dining room floors free of debris and spilled liquids
• Bus tables and re-set tables for the next guest. Pick-up clean linen for service and drop off soiled linen for washing to determined area
• Always provide excellent service to all our guests
• Assist guests courteously and efficiently
• Maintain the cleanliness of the dining room and station at all times
• Keep chairs and banquettes clean and clear of debris
• Handle customer requests in a timely manner
• Set up side station with sugar bowls, water pitchers, bread, and butter etc. as established in the side work sheet
• Ensure all silverware is polished and spotless
• Follow the cleaning program for the restaurant established in the side work sheet
• Upkeep and clear tables between courses throughout the meal
• Delivery of food from kitchen to guest’s tables, including tray service
• Assist in setting up tables according to floor plan
• Anticipate guest needs, as to where guests will never have to ask for anything
• Attend all food and beverage training classes when requested
• Wish every guest a warm farewell and thank them for coming
• Must be aware at all times what type of water each guest in their station is drinking
• Make coffee, tea, and hot beverages for guests
• Place all to go food in appropriate containers
• Attend daily pre meal/communication meeting
• Attend monthly department meeting
• Communicate with all servers and server assistants in a professional manner
• All other responsibilities assigned by Management

• Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
• Willing to work a flexible schedule and holidays

• Have good knowledge of food and beverage preparations
