Serve - Administrative Assistant - Cornerstone Church

The Serve Administrative Assistant is a key role responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the Serve Ministry Department, supporting local and global missions through Cornerstone.

This position requires expert knowledge in administrative practices, a strong foundational knowledge of basic accounting and using good judgement on all matters of a highly confidential matter. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of all Serve ministry events, tours and trips.

You must be self-directed, detail oriented, and possess good problem-solving skills and multitasking skills with the ability to follow through and get results. Expert level written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail while also being able to make decisions and move forward. A high level of confidentiality and professionalism are crucial to this position.

What you will do…
Administration & Communication

• Respond to phone and email communications in a timely manner.
• Schedule, plan and prepare for meetings and events.
• Maintain the calendar for Serve Ministry Trips, Tours and Events.
• Send regular invites, newsletters and announcements to serve participants, volunteers and potential participants.

Financial Oversight

• Reconcile credit card statements and monitor/update budget ledgers.
• Manage donations and fundraising accounts.

Database Management

• Utilize the ROCK database to
  • Create registration forms
  • Room reservations for meeting spaces and events
• Serve Trip application processing.
• Utilize Basecamp for project management and communication purposes.

Marketing

• Manage marketing collateral with Communications team.

Weekend Patio Booth Coordination

• Coordinate weekend patio booth volunteers, set up and supplies.

Experiences you have had:

• Prefer 2 years of recent administrative assistant experience.
• Strong technical expertise in MS Office, Church systems (ROCK, Basecamp, etc.) preferred.
• Must align with the vision, values, and doctrinal statement of Cornerstone Christian Fellowship.
• Must be a member of Cornerstone Christian Fellowship who supports the vision and values.
