Currently, we support about 50 leading market area brands across the country. This role is pivotal to implementing our website strategy and maximizing our online web properties to drive performance across various customer journeys to connect with our partners.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented SEO Web Developer to join our dynamic team. This role combines technical web development and SEO expertise to build engaging, user-friendly, and search-engine-optimized websites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing our website optimization and SEO strategy, executing on a robust testing program, and leveraging customer profile insights to maximize conversion potential in supporting our operating partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Web Development
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive and dynamic websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks
- Implement clean, reusable, and efficient code that adheres to web standards and ensures cross-browser compatibility.
- Ensure websites are optimized for performance, speed, and scalability across all devices and browsers.
- Customize and manage CMS platforms like WordPress, Shopify, or other solutions to create or enhance websites.
- Implement website changes, updates, and fixes based on business needs and user feedback.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Develop and implement comprehensive on-page and off-page SEO strategies to maximize visibility and organic traffic.
- Monitor site performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
- Stay updated with algorithm changes and adjust strategies to maintain rankings.
- Proven experience optimizing local searches, including Google Business Profiles (GBP).
Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
- Design and execute A/B and multivariate testing strategies to optimize website elements and conversion funnels.
- Utilize heatmapping tools to gain user insights and inform testing roadmaps to drive incremental conversions.
- Implement calls-to-action (CTAs) and lead generation features that align with business objectives.
Performance Analysis and Reporting
- Use tools like GA4 to monitor and evaluate SEO and website performance metrics.
- Prepare actionable reports summarizing key insights, performance trends, and areas for improvement.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
Collaboration and Troubleshooting
- Work cross-functionally with content creators, digital marketing teams (SEM, Email, Social, Brand), and stakeholders to ensure cohesive strategies.
- Collaborate effectively with IT to manage domains, SSL certificates, hosting, and uptime reliability.
- Debug and troubleshoot technical issues related to web development and SEO.
Innovation and Industry Awareness
- Stay ahead of the latest trends in search engines, SEO, and digital marketing strategies.
- Explore and integrate emerging technologies, such as AI-driven SEO tools and content generation.
- Advocate for and implement website compliance with ADA, TCPA, and other relevant privacy policies.
Qualifications:
Required Skills
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices and the ability to implement technical SEO strategies.
- Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress and Elementor (custom themes and plugins), Shopify, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of core web vitals, schema markup, and structured data principles.
- Experience in A/B testing, conversion rate optimization, and user behavior analysis.
- Proven ability to optimize local searches, including Google Business Profiles (GBP).
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, or other server-side technologies.
- Expertise in analytics tools (e.g., GA4, SEMrush, Ahrefs) and reporting tools like Looker Studio.
- Experience with GTM implementation and advanced event tracking.
- Knowledge of PPC, LSA strategies, and their impact on organic campaigns.
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning applications in SEO and web development.
- Experience and samples of building high quality websites and image design
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, Computer Science, Digital Media, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in web development, SEO, and website optimization.
- Previous experience working with agencies or managing multiple projects is a plus.
Role Requirements:
- Role is full-time in Irving-Las Colinas, TX.
- All employees must work in our office 4 days a week, with Wednesday being the Standard Work From Home Day.
- Travel Requirements: 10%.
