About the Job
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, IT, and other stakeholders, to gather business requirements and translate them into Workday Financials solutions.
- Recommend and create custom reports utilizing the most efficient report type (Including but not limited to Advanced, Matrix, and Composite)
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Workday Financials, providing guidance and support to end-users and troubleshooting system issues.
- Assist Finance and Accounting teams in configuration and maintenance of Business Processes, Account Posting Rules, and security assignments.
- Maintain data integrity of the financial system by analyzing data, audit controls and producing reports.
- Take an active role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement that delivers scalable and repeatable business processes to support our finance and accounting partners.
- Must have experience in Accounting Finance or Information Technology and a strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, processes, and best practices.
- 3+ years of Workday Financials experience with in-depth knowledge of Workday Financials configuration and functionality
- Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- A highly analytical, organized, and detail-oriented professional who can work independently but who also functions as a team member.
- Effective organizational and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical constituents.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and independently, meet deadlines and escalate appropriately to management.
- Experience with configurable Workday security groups; including role-based, user-based, segmented, and rule-based groups.
- Experience with Workday integrations including but not limited to: EIBs, RaaS Reports, SOAP/REST APIs.
- Experience with other financial systems or supporting technology such as: OneStream, Anaplan, Adaptive Planning, Oracle Hyperion, Workiva, SQL, Python
