TAYS is seeking a Senior Windows Development/Production Engineerto become a part of our vibrant team! This role will contribute to various projects within a federal agency. The role is based in Woodlawn, MD, and requires qualified candidates with robust analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, coupled with a keen attention to detail.
Opportunity:
This task is to provide Windows Administration and virtualization support for the Windows environment to support the WDPE. The activities and deliverables required to support this scope are described below. The role demands a harmonious blend of technical acumen and strong communication skills, enabling you to relay technical topics to diverse audiences and continuously engage with the customer. While your day-to-day responsibilities will be dynamic, reflecting our client's needs, you'll be backed by a supportive team, fostering growth and innovation.
This is a permanent, W2 position and will consist of a hybrid schedule. The Senior Windows Development/Production Engineer must be local to the DMV area.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of relative experience, Master's degree and 5 years of relative experience, or 11 years of relative experience in an IT field in lieu of a degree
- 3 years of experience in developing and maintaining automated testing framework and infrastructure
- 2 years of experience with Selenium Web driver, Selenium Grid, and SQL Server
- 1 year of experience with Unit Testing tools such as Junit, TestNG, and Cucumber
- 1 year of experience in developing automated test plans, test scenarios, test scripts, acceptance criteria, test data, investigating, and debugging test failures, updating tests or reporting bugs as necessary
- 1 year of Core Java technical expertise including JEE, Frameworks (Struts, Spring), object-oriented design and design pattern
- Must be US Citizen or US Permanent Resident (Green card holder)
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Public Trust clearance.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in working in an Agile Development environment and automating application developed in Agile Development environment.
- Experience in integrating project testing with continuous integration process.
- Understanding of build tools like Maven, ANT
- Understanding of version control tools like Git, SVN
- Understanding of Continuous integration tools like Jenkins, Docker
- Understanding of AWS
- Experience in capturing and reusing automated Unit Test cases, Test Stubs and Drivers and other development test objects.
- Experience in using risk-driven techniques to develop, maintain and execute automated test suites to perform automated dynamic testing
- Prior Social Security Administration (SSA) disability experience is a plus
- Excellent team building skills, including cross-functional team building
- Proficient in MS Office, MS Visio, and SharePoint
- Experience in using VersionOne and HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
- Proficient in Extensible Markup Language (XML) and Object-oriented programming skills
- Prior Federal government experience
