Responsibilities
**Position Summary**
Under the direction of the Associate Director of Web Services, the Senior Web Administrator is responsible for gathering requirements, architecting, developing, testing, optimizing, and managing website content and structure for URMC’s public-facing websites. The Senior Web Administrator works collaboratively with faculty and staff, has a proactive service-oriented attitude, is passionate about technology, and drives innovative trends. The Web Content Manager provides strategic insight and support in answering client business needs and challenges. Assists in the development of public-facing web properties that are innovative, drive measurable engagement, and are built from a user-centered perspective.
The Senior Web Administrator has:
+ a thorough knowledge of content strategy, web page layout and information architecture;
+ excellent written, verbal and editorial skills;
+ a strong knowledge of usability and accessibility on the web;
+ experience using project management tools for medium to large scale projects;
+ a commitment to enforcing brand guidelines and web governance standards; and
+ the ability to be open and collaborative while working closely with project teams, editors, developers and designers to coordinate site content and design.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
Under the direction of the Associate Director of Web Services or designee:
**Builds and manages website content** **(60%)**
+ Identifies and translates client requirements into a project. Works with clients to identify business goals and recommends content types that support those goals. (25%)
+ Utilizes solid command of user experience standards, accessibility guidelines, industry recommendations, content principles and best practices when creating and editing website content within the Kentico Content Management System. (20%)
+ Monitors Web Services ticketing system and responds to help tickets. (15%)
**Acts as the liaison to translate department needs into well-thought out layouts in the Content Management System (15%)**
+ Collaborates with leadership, web content managers, application developers and project team members to coordinate large content changes
+ Conceptualizes web content solutions that meet department needs and align with URMC web policies.
**Troubleshoots (15%)**
+ Troubleshoots for broken links, browser incompatibilities, outdated content and code, and usability and accessibility issues; makes corrections as needed
**Maintains updated knowledge of Internet technologies by attending seminars, classes, and conferences; visiting relevant Internet sites; reviewing current literature, and evaluate trends (5%)**
**Other duties as assigned (5%)**
**Supervision / Direction:**
This position reports to the Associate Director or Project Director of Web Services. Supervision exercised: co-ops (as needed)
**Requirements:**
Bachelor's degree in related discipline such as Computer Science, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Science or Engineering; and 5 years of related experience, preferably 1-2 years in a supervisory capacity; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Master's degree preferred.
Technical Skills (preferred):
+ 3+ years of experience in content management, data management, and customer support
+ Detailed working knowledge and experience with Information Architecture and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics)
+ Experience with semantic HTML, CSS, JavaScript and/or front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap
+ Experience with modern web layouts and web design programs
+ Experience with cross-browser compatibility
+ Experience in responsive web design
+ Experience updating content via database frontend
+ Familiarity with email marketing client services (e.g., MailChimp, Campaign Monitor, etc.)
Non-Technical Skills (preferred):
+ Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation skills.
+ Ability to work collaboratively with team members, faculty, staff, project leaders, and students
+ Service-oriented attitude, supporting team and helping clients
+ Solid organizational and time management skills; capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced and cross-functional environment
+ Ability to carry out detailed tasks and projects with minimal direction or supervision.

**Pay Range**
Pay Range: $68,400 - $102,600 Annually
_The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations._
