Join us. **Job Description** **AECOM** is seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer to support our Water Resources group in El Paso, TX that is ready to contribute to challenging and interesting projects that make our local communities safer and more resilient. + Technical oversight of design staff and team members for water resources projects including but not limited to floodplain modeling and mapping studies, LOMRs/CLOMRs, municipal water resources projects, and transportation drainage design. + Identifies new business opportunities for AECOM, coordinates and participates in project presentations to clients and other external groups, and promotes AECOM’s capabilities, marketing its services among existing and prospective clients. + Participates in project opportunity evaluation, consultant selection, and the preparation of AECOM's qualification/experience statements. + Coordinates and participates in contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors and drafts complex professional service agreements and addenda for review by senior management. + Directs project team and client compliance with contract terms and monitors subcontractors' compliance with contractual commitments. + Prepares project work plan, scope, schedule, and budget, and communicates these to project team members; monitors/manages project production for compliance with schedule, budget, and quality objectives. + May supervise technical professionals, associate project managers, and design staff including workload and staffing management. + Monitors and reports financial status of projects to technical managers. + Performs such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary. **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements:** + Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education + Texas Professional Engineering (PE) license **Preferred Qualifications:** + 8+ years of related experience + Three (3) or more years performing project management and/or business development. + Working relationship with southwest clients and market. **Additional Information** \#LI-EM1 Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
