Keystone is in search of a Wastewater Engineer with 8+ years of civil/environmental design experience, and a concentration in Water and Wastewater treatment technologies to join our Frazer, PA team.
Our Frazer office is located about 50 minutes outside of Philadelphia. Whether you are a fan of big cities, small towns or suburban living, our Frazer location is in proximity to all!
As a Wastewater Engineer, you will serve as the lead technical resource for the installation of various wastewater treatment systems, prepare design drawings in conjunction with Engineers and Designers and develop equipment specifications, you will also be responsible for wastewater treatment plant and conveyance system design.
You will need to be self-sufficient from proposal to deliverable, responsible for the design and specification of full projects, and making technical design decisions, develop calculations for biological treatment, process pipe and pump sizes, edit CSI type specifications for project manuals and provide QC and PE reviews while commenting on the work of other staff members, and work with Designers to develop drawing packages and provide mark-ups.
A Bachelor's degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering, experience in municipal wastewater which must include production of contract drawings and specifications. An active Professional Engineering License is required for this position.
We would also look for experience in contracts and construction management, with industrial wastewater treatment, and a DBIA and/or PMP certification, experience in preparation of bidding documents, construction contracts, and manages construction projects is a plus.
Our Engineers travel locally to client sites and occasionally have overnight travel trips for projects.
