About the Job
Our client, a well-established architectural design firm, is seeking a Senior Architect and Project Manager to lead their growing Virginia office. With a 50-year legacy of providing innovative design solutions, this firm specializes in master planning and architectural services for religious, educational, institutional, and commercial projects, including restaurants and banks. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team during an exciting period of expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage all aspects of project development from initial design to completion.
Lead marketing initiatives to expand the firm's presence in Virginia, Maryland, DC, and West Virginia.
Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and satisfaction.
Direct project teams and consultants to deliver exceptional designs and meet deadlines and budgets.
Ensure compliance with construction methods, building codes, detailing, and specifications.
Manage the operations of the Virginia office, coordinating closely with the main office.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
Licensed Architect in Virginia (additional licenses in Maryland and West Virginia are a plus).
Minimum of 12 years of experience in architectural design and project management.
Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and 3D modeling/rendering tools.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Outstanding communication and writing skills, with the ability to lead and inspire teams.
Legal work status in the United States.
