We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Sanctions List Management to join the Global Sanctions Operations team. This role is located in Lake Mary, FL or Pittsburgh, PA or - Hybrid Work Model.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Lead a team of List Management Analysts in charge of the organization and maintenance of various internal and external sanctions lists.
- Oversee the mandatory Regulatory, Sanctions and Internal list management updates that are completed daily.
- Partner with Senior Management and the Global Sanctions Compliance team to ensure appropriate approvals are received and documented for any sanctions list changes.
- Oversee the team to make sure all list update quality assurance and reconciliation procedures are performed per policy; ensuring all control steps are completed and meeting procedure and policy guidelines.
- Maintain responsibility for ongoing enhancements of vendor provided watchlists to identify missing or outdated entries on an ongoing basis.
- Overseeing the team’s implementation of new, updated, or modified entries to vendor provided sanctions lists.
- Oversee quality control reviews of all activities involved in list updates to all sanctions filter systems. Primarily responsible for the accuracy and quality of own work. Work contributes to the achievement of team goals.
- Maintain records of sanctions screening list updates, quality reviews, and list update/upload approvals in accordance with applicable recordkeeping and record retention requirements.
- Support audit/validation requests for the filter and alert monitoring systems
- Work with the Testing and Tuning team to provide secondary support for the creation and approval of rules and exceptions.
- Support general sanctions operations activities and other duties, as needed.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- 7-10 years of total work experience and at least 1-3 years of management experience preferred.
- Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.
- 10-12 years of combined work experience within Financial Services, Audit, and/or Compliance preferred
- 1 or more years of Sanctions experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Sanctions List Management preferred
- Knowledge of LexisNexis Bridger and Fircosoft systems are a plus
