About the Job
Our client, aleader in the aviation industry, is seeking a Senior UX Designer to join their team on a long-term, ongoing contract basis. This role offers the unique opportunity to contribute to sales programs that improve user experiences while enjoying the stability of a contract that includes benefits. The position requires 3 days per week on-site(Tuesday - Thursday) in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
What You'll Do
Design
-
Create the visual style, interface, and interaction flow of applications and experiences.

Develop conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mockups, and prototypes.

Maintain detailed specifications and design patterns to ensure consistency.
Information Architecture

Translate rules and assets into comprehensive UX systems, programs, and enterprise solutions.

Prepare and manage UX documentation, including navigational flows, wireframes, mockups, use cases, and prototypes.

Advocate for users by collaborating with business owners to develop features that meet their needs.
UX Research

Develop research strategies aligned with project KPIs and create usability test plans, scripts, and scenarios for prototypes.

Conduct various research techniques, including heuristic reviews, user interviews, and usability testing.

Design, recruit, and moderate user interviews and usability studies.
Project Management

Provide timely status reporting on all projects, including work progress, risks, and issues.

Communicate effectively with key stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
What We're Looking For
Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Visual Design, Library Sciences, or related disciplines, or equivalent experience.

3+ years of experience in UX design, interaction design, or a similar role.

Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Axure, Sketch, Zeplin, Adobe CC, Figma).

Experience collaborating with developers in an agile environment.

Strong analytical skills for solving complex data problems and implementing sustainable solutions.

Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research methods.

Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and trends in web and app design.

Experience creating responsive, adaptive, and accessible designs.
Preferred Skills

5+ years of experience in UX design.

Advanced degree in a related field.

Experience managing multiple projects and working across disciplines and time zones.

Familiarity with remote unmoderated testing tools and platforms.

Strong organizational skills for labeling, classifying, and building wireframes for complex applications.

Location: Dallas-Fort Worth area (on-site 3 days per week).

Pay Range: $60 - $70 per hour

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
