What You’ll Do:
Cash Management:
- Develop and execute strategies for effective cash flow management, ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet operational needs.
- Oversee daily cash operations, including cash positioning, forecasting, and optimizing working capital.
- Maintain and improve cash forecasting models to enhance accuracy and planning.
Risk Management:
- Identify, assess, and manage financial risks, including foreign exchange and interest rate exposures.
- Design and implement risk mitigation strategies to protect the company’s assets.
Debt & Capital Management:
- Manage the company’s debt portfolio, ensuring compliance with financial covenants and optimal cost of capital.
- Support the CFO in evaluating and executing financial opportunities for new equipment and capital expenditures.
- Monitor and optimize the company’s capital structure to align with strategic goals.
Banking Relationships:
- Act as a key liaison with financial institutions to maintain strong banking relationships and negotiate favorable terms.
- Support the CFO in securing financing for growth initiatives and managing credit facilities.
Foreign Exchange Management:
- Develop and implement strategies to manage foreign exchange exposures, including hedging activities.
- Monitor market trends to provide insights and recommendations for currency risk management.
Investments:
- Manage and optimize the company’s investment portfolio, ensuring alignment with risk tolerance and return objectives.
- Evaluate new investment opportunities to maximize returns within the company’s liquidity framework.
Financial Covenant Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all financial covenants and proactively manage reporting requirements.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to address any potential compliance risks.
Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with the CFO to forecast future cash needs and develop financial strategies to support growth.
- Provide actionable insights to improve the company’s financial performance and resilience.
Team Collaboration:
- Work cross-functionally with Accounting, FP&A, and other departments to align treasury operations with broader financial objectives.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics required; MBA or CTP/CFA certification preferred.
- Experience: 6–10 years in treasury, FP&A, or financial management, with proven success in cash, debt, and risk management.
- Skills: Strong analytical abilities, proficiency in financial modeling, and expertise in treasury systems.
- Mindset: Strategic thinker with a collaborative approach, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail.
