Responsibilities:MV Transportation provides safe and reliable bus transportation services to transit agencies, corporations and schools across the U.S. and Canada. In operation for more than 45 years, MV is the largest privately held transit operator in the U.S., with market-leading positions in both paratransit and fixed route bus service segments, moving more than 110 million bus passengers per year.
The team
MV is in search of a dynamic and energetic well-rounded Senior Treasury Analyst to join it’s Treasury team to build out its capability, bandwidth and execute its strategic plan. The current Treasury team consists of a Vice President Treasury and a Director of Treasury with a combined 45+ years of experience. This role will report to the Vice President Treasury and support the Director of Treasury.
The Senior Treasury Analyst will interact with other team members in finance including FP&A, Accounting, Risk Management and Tax. This Treasury team owns its work and its outcomes, acts with integrity, and fosters leadership.
Work you’ll do
This role will be involved in all Treasury activities including cashflow forecasting, loan reporting and annual audits, cash management, investments, recurring and ad-hoc financial analysis, internal controls and accounting entries.
Treasury
- Have responsibility for certain aspects of the monthly cashflow forecast process
- Revolving Loan Reporting and support annual audit
- Cash management operations support (wires, merchant processing, portal management)
- Investment analysis and reporting
Business Decision Support and Financial Analysis
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial analyses including sensitivity analyses
Accounting
- Prepare daily and month end Treasury accounting Journal Entries and supporting schedules.
- Support the annual audit
Controls / Compliance
- Maintain the Treasury department internal control documentation repository.

Talent Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Accounting or Finance
- CTP a plus.
- Five (5) to Seven (7) years Treasury experience
Additional attributes considered a “plus”
- CTP / CPA
- Transportation industry experience
