Senior Training Specialist - ManTech

About the Job
ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Training Specialist to join our team in the Reston, VA location. This is an onsite position.
The successful candidate will travel worldwide to training new users on the program’s primary system, demo the system to potential new partners, and support training creation, documentation, and virtual offerings when not traveling.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Traveling worldwide to train new users on the program’s primary system during deployments of those systems
+ Demonstrating the system to potential new partners to support program expansion
+ Establishing virtual and web-based training and providing virtual training sessions to users as needed for refreshers, in support of new features, and in support of other use cases as required
+ Providing ad-hoc training to Sponsor personnel as required
+ Maintaining the training space to provide demos and training to audiences at contractor facilities
+ Identifying and certifying user proficiency in support of partners’ train-the-trainer model
+ Develop training plans, coursework, videos, in-application how-tos, leave-behinds, and other training documentation for the system and all system roles, and storing documentation appropriately
+ Designing, configuring, and maintaining the training demonstration kit, and documenting the kit’s setup and use
+ Assisting the engineering teams with testing of the system and features and providing translation support as applicable
+ Collaborating with users, partners, and engineering teams to gather and refine new system requirements
Basic Qualifications:
+ Ten (10)+ years of technical training and training creation experience
+ Ability and willingness to travel overseas 25% - 50% of the time
+ Strong experience providing in-person and virtual training to audiences of various sizes, technical aptitudes and backgrounds
+ Strong experience creating a variety of training-related materials and documentation to meet users’ needs, including web-based/virtual training and videos, training plans, written documentation, and instructions
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Linguistic skills strongly preferred, particularly French, Spanish, and/or Arabic
+ Prior experience providing in-person training to diverse audiences worldwide in many different environments
Clearance Requirements:
+ Must have an active/current Top Secret security clearance.
Physical Requirements:
+ Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
+ Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
+ Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
+ The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
+ The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
