Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is seeking an initiative-taking and experienced Senior Tester to join our team. The successful candidate will manage the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase of Salesforce implementations independently, working closely with business team members to ensure seamless delivery. This role is crucial in supporting the company's mission to deliver high-quality solutions, drive customer satisfaction, and achieve business objectives.
Job Responsibilities
As a Senior Tester, you will:
Plan, coordinate, and complete the UAT phase for Salesforce implementations, ensuring alignment with business requirements and project timelines.
Facilitate UAT calls with business stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify test objectives, and ensure test readiness.
Conduct triage calls to prioritize and categorize defects, working collaboratively with development teams to resolve issues promptly.
Drive the defect resolution process, ensuring that defects are tracked, monitored, and closed efficiently.
Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts based on business requirements and functional specifications.
Implement test cases and document results, ensuring a thorough validation of business processes within the Salesforce environment.
Provide regular updates and status reports to project managers and customers, ensuring transparency in the UAT process.
Act as a liaison between business collaborators and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of issues and resolutions.
Lead post-UAT review sessions to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement in the testing process.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior testers as needed.
Basic Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Eligible to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in UAT testing, with at least 3 years focused on Salesforce implementations.
Demonstrable ability to lead UAT phases independently, including facilitating calls, conducting triage, and driving defects to closure.
Solid understanding of Salesforce capabilities, configurations, and testing methodologies.
Experience working closely with business team members to define test strategies and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Excellent communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage effectively with business and technical teams.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to document test plans, cases, and results clearly and concisely.
Additional Qualifications
Experience with agile and DevOps methodologies, including continuous integration and testing.
Salesforce certification (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder) is a plus.
Familiarity with defect tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Good communication and team building skills.
Strong test writing skills.

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
