**Job Description**
**AECOM** has an opening for a **Senior** **Technology Engineer with RCDD experience** to support our growing B+P business line in Ohio. This hire can be seated in either our Cleveland or Columbus offices.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Responsible for supporting the electrical engineering design work on assigned projects under the guidance of senior staff.
+ Design of structured Telecom and Security cable infrastructure and pathways to support Voice, Data, Wi-Fi, CATV, Paging, Audio Visual, CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and other IP-Based systems.
+ Design of Telecom Room layouts including connection, outlet, and system details, copper and fiber backbone transmission media and one-line diagrams, interior and exterior pathways and sizing, system equipment elevations, system diagrams, and system schedules.
+ Construction oversite including specification and contract drawing compliance, conducting site visits, formulating construction observation reports, and review of Submittals, RFIs, test results and other related Construction Administration tasks.
+ Coordinating with multiple disciplines and ensuring that projects are delivered within budget and on schedule.
+ Writing reports for internal and external purposes based on findings.
+ Collaborating with the Managing Principal or MEP Practice Leader in evaluating staffing needs.
+ Working cooperatively with managers and other employees to achieve the company's mission.
+ Ensures discipline plans meet overall project team requirements for scope and schedule.
+ Stays current on codes and technologies appropriate to electrical, telecom, and security.
+ Ensures conformance with standards and established design practices, applicable codes, and technical adequacy of design and construction.
+ Organizes and conducts site visits for the purpose of data collection and evaluation of all low voltage systems and materials for projects with and without well-defined scopes.
+ Develops designs within a BIM design environment.
+ Directs activities to verify installed low voltage systems, equipment, components, and materials conform to the requirements of project contract documents.
+ Completes assigned engineering and design tasks in accordance with client specified criteria and applicable codes and standards.
+ Review work product of junior team members for quality and recognition of training requirements.
+ Leads junior engineers in design development and professional growth.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET accredited college or university + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
+ Valid driver’s license
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Professional Engineer (PE)
+ BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD)
+ 8 -10+ years of electrical and telecom consulting engineering and/or telecom experience
+ Power systems analysis software experience (SKM, EasyPower, Etap)
+ Experience with Revit and AutoCAD design software
+ Strong preference for experience in the following markets: Federal, State, and Local Government, Federal DoD, Healthcare and Labs, Corporate Commercial / Mixed Use, Mission Critical Facilities
+ Excellent communication skills; articulate, assertive, and confident
+ Creative thinker with effective teamwork skills
+ Strong familiarity with industry codes and standards (NEC, NESC, IEEE, etc.)
+ Strong written and verbal skills with ability to support engineering tasks
**Additional Information**
+ Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $145,000- $170,000
+ Relocation assistance within the US is available for this role
+ Sponsorship is not available for this role now or in the future
+ Due to the nature of the work this role supports, US Citizenship is required

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $140,000.00 - $170,000.00.
