Senior Project Manager
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team. The Senior Project Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing various pharmaceutical engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in owner's construction management and/or GMP operational readiness.
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop comprehensive project plans outlining project scope, goals, timelines, and deliverables.
- Lead project teams in the successful execution of engineering projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications.
- Monitor project progress, identify and address potential risks, and implement effective solutions to keep projects on track.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular project updates and addressing any client inquiries or issues promptly.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Provide guidance and mentorship to project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, regulatory experts, and contractors, to achieve project goals efficiently.
- Resource Management:
- Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet project requirements and deadlines.
- Optimize resource utilization and identify areas for process improvements to enhance overall project efficiency.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Ensure projects comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Implement rigorous quality assurance processes to deliver high-quality engineering solutions to clients.
- Budget and Cost Control:
- Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring projects are completed within budgetary constraints.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies without compromising project quality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in an engineering or project management role
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects from initiation to completion.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, facility design, and regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to travel as required for client meetings and project site visits.
