Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Senior Technical Program Manager for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Investment Banking clients in New York, NY.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Program Manager to lead our Prod/Non-Prod Segregation Program. This critical role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the segregation of production and non-production network environment within our organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in network architecture, security protocols, program management, and a deep understanding of both production and non-production environments. A senior technical program manager is a person responsible for overseeing the development and execution of complex technical programs. They work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that network solutions meet the business needs and technical requirements as well as the program is delivered on time and within budget.

- Defining requirements and project scopes for various technical programs
- Managing schedules, resources, and risks across multiple projects
- Testing and reviewing potential solutions and ensuring alignment with business goals
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders, engineers, and other teams
- Develop and execute a comprehensive program strategy for the segregation of production and non-production network environments.
- Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams throughout all phases of the program.
- Define program objectives, scope, deliverables, and timelines.
- Collaborate with network & systems engineers and architect to develop detailed network designs and configurations.
- Help evaluate and recommend network technologies, tools, and solutions to support segregation requirements.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards regulations, and best practices related to network security and segregation.
- Implement robust security controls and protocols to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access.
- Support regular audits and assessments to monitor compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities associated with network segregation efforts.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address identified risks.
- Monitor and track risk factors throughout the program lifecycle, implementing proactive measures to minimize risk exposure.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including IT teams, security experts and business leaders to gather requirements and align program objective with organizational goals.
- Communicate program status, updates, and milestones to stakeholder though regular reporting and presentations.
- Address stakeholder concerns and prioritize feedback to ensure successful program delivery.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical and/or Computer engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in network architecture, design, and implementation.
- Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale network segregation programs or similar initiatives.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and define approaches to bring un-focused issues to resolution.
- Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to act as a bridge between multiple businesses and technology areas.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for work
- Strong understanding of network protocols, security principles, and best practices.
- Experience with network infrastructure technologies, such as routers, switches, firewall, load balancers, server farms, systems, and cloud.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize; ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.
- Experience working with project management tools such as Jira, ensuring effective tracking and management of program tasks and deliverables.
Preferred Skills:
- PMP, CCNA, CISSP, or other relevant certifications preferred.
