- 5 years of experience managing software programs.

- 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience in software architecture, design and development of Scalable and Reliable systems.
- Experience in executive-level communication.
- Knowledge of Networking, including in Network Management and Control planes, Software Defined Networking.
- Understanding of accountability, bias-for-action, and ability to manage without authority and challenge the status quo when necessary.

As a Technical Program Manager in the Global Networking Technology (GNT) team, you will implement software solutions on networking technology that connect users by providing seamless, dependable connectivity. You will scale the Google Production Network by managing cross-functional programs that require working with all organizational levels and groups.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $168,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Deliver cross-functional projects/programs with predictability and ensure they provide value to our customers. Manage software programs that include large software components used for managing the data, control and management plane of Google's global network.
- Develop road-maps, engage teams and engineers, set the pace for development of software systems and infrastructure.
- Identify and Initiate NPIs in response to opportunities, need and be the catalyst for gaining support and driving them through completion.
- Use technical acumen to drive project delivery, technology reviews, guide technical proposals and build consensus among cross-functional teams. Set project/program success criteria, create measurable milestones, track deliverables and deliver customer value incrementally.
- Design and launch new processes, institute process improvements, and help program teams scale. Improve Google’s ability to deliver network capacity on-time, with high availability while achieving maximum efficiency.
