As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining the technical vision, strategy, and roadmap for our Chromatography data management software solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality products that meet customer needs and business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of software development methodologies, Python, Waters Empower, and/ or other chromatography systems, coupled with strong product management expertise.

Responsibilities:
- Define and drive the technical vision, strategy, and roadmap for our Chromatography software products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, UX/UI designers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.
- Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders, including customers, internal teams, and external partners, to gather technical requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify technical trends, user needs, and opportunities for product innovation.
- Translate technical requirements, market insights, and business objectives into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with development teams to prioritize and manage the technical backlog, sprint planning, and release cycles.
- Drive continuous improvement and optimization of technical development processes, tools, and methodologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in product management / technical product management or related roles within the software industry, preferably in Life Sciences or related domains.
- Strong technical background with proficiency in Python, and experience with Waters Empower and/or other chromatography systems.
- Proven track record of successfully defining, launching, and managing technically complex software products from concept to delivery.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively articulate technical concepts and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and the ability to translate technical insights into actionable product strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions and prioritize competing technical demands effectively.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments and familiarity with related technical tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the Life Sciences industry (e.g., FDA, GxP, ISO).
- Advanced certifications in technical product management (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, Pragmatic Marketing Certified).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and knowledge of DevOps practices.
