About the Job
We are seeking a Senior Technical Analyst with expertise in software testing, validation, and troubleshooting to bridge our project engineering and manufacturing teams. This role requires hands-on problem-solving skills, technical acumen, and the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a Linux environment and possess proficiency in Python and/or C++ to assist with software validation tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of software to ensure functionality, reliability, and compliance with project requirements.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison between the project engineering team and the manufacturing team, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems related to software and hardware interactions.
- Provide detailed technical analysis and documentation of issues, solutions, and best practices.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to support smooth integration and deployment processes.
- Utilize Linux environments to support software operations, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Write, review, and analyze scripts or code (in Python and/or C++) as needed for validation purposes.
- Participate in on-site meetings and technical reviews at both the Newton and Billerica locations.
Qualifications
- Experience
- 5+ years in software testing, validation, or technical analysis roles, preferably at a senior level.
- Technical Skills
- Proficient in Python and/or C++ with the ability to read, write, and debug code.
- Linux
- Strong familiarity with Linux systems and their application in software testing and validation.
- Problem-Solving
- Demonstrated ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Communication
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical concepts between teams.
- Team Collaboration
- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering and manufacturing teams.
- Flexibility
- Willingness and ability to be on-site in Newton, MA, and occasionally travel to Billerica, MA.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Familiarity with hardware-software integration processes.
- Experience working in regulated industries or environments.
