As the Senior Tax Manager, you will:
- Lead tax compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to all federal and state tax laws and regulations while optimizing systems and controls.
- Review and approve accurate, timely tax returns for a diverse client base, including corporations, partnerships, individuals, trusts, and non-profits.
- Act as a trusted tax advisor, staying current on legislative and regulatory changes to guide the team and clients effectively.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to maximize benefits from changes in tax legislation.
- Identify process improvements and risk mitigation opportunities to enhance efficiency.
- Mentor and support the tax team, fostering professional development and engagement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Active CPA certification (required).
- 7+ years of experience in public accounting, including 5+ years in a management role.
- Deep knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, tax preparation software, and research tools.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
