Senior Tax Manager Position
Salary Range: $200,000 - $225,000; DOE

Responsibilities:
As a Senior Tax Manager at our firm, you'll be entrusted with:
- Overseeing, leading, and guiding a team consisting of entry-level, senior, and supervisor-level staff across various tax engagements.
- Reviewing complex tax returns meticulously prepared by team members, adhering to structured timelines of due dates and deadlines.
- Nurturing and developing staff through both formal and informal performance feedback mechanisms.
- Acting as a mentor to junior staff, fostering their growth and professional development.
- Proactively engaging with clients, building and maintaining strong relationships to deliver exceptional client service.
- Providing insightful consultations to clients on strategic planning opportunities and navigating changes in tax law.
- Effectively managing engagement risks and financial performance, ensuring quality, and overseeing workflow efficiency.
Qualifications:
Our ideal candidate possesses:
- A minimum of eight (8) years of tax experience within a public accounting firm, serving US domestic clients.
- At least five (5) years of experience in supervisory roles, with a knack for training and mentoring staff.
- A valid CPA license.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; a Master's Degree in Taxation is highly regarded but not mandatory.
- Bonus points for experience with Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC).
- Exceptional customer service skills, coupled with the ability to interact professionally with clients.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, along with strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in research and analysis, with the capability to prepare comprehensive memorandums on intricate tax issues.
- Effective organizational skills, enabling successful management of multiple engagements and deadlines.
