The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of tax laws and regulations, with a specific focus on high-net worth individuals, trusts, estates, S-Corp, C-Corp, and real estate tax. As a Senior Tax Manager/Partner, you will be responsible for the preparation and review of complex tax forms and financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and review of complex tax returns for high-net worth individuals, trusts, estates, S-Corp, C-Corp, and pass through entities.
- Provide strategic tax planning and consulting to clients, and assist them in understanding their tax obligations and potential tax-saving opportunities.
- Conduct thorough financial reporting, ensuring all reports are accurate, timely, and comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Stay updated on current tax practices and changes in tax law, and communicate these changes effectively to clients and staff.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their tax and financial needs are met.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the integration of tax strategies with other financial planning services.
- Mentor and supervise junior staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Contribute to the strategic direction and growth of our tax department, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA in CA is required
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in tax management, with a focus on high-net worth individuals, trusts, estates, S-Corp, C-Corp, and real estate tax.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, and the ability to apply this knowledge to complex tax situations.
- Proven experience in the preparation and review of complex tax forms and financial reports.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership abilities, with a proven track record of mentoring and developing staff.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
- Proficiency in tax software and other relevant technology.
- Strong commitment to professional development and staying updated on current tax practices and changes in tax law.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks and projects, and meet deadlines.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
