As a Senior Tax Manager, you will play a vital role in the financial heart of our organization. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for the overall management of corporate tax strategies and compliance. You will be instrumental in ensuring our financial health by managing and optimizing our tax liabilities, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and providing expert advice on tax-related matters. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of tax laws and regulations, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

1. Develop and implement strategic tax planning for all necessary federal and state taxes.
2. Manage and facilitate IRS income tax audits: preparing responses, creating schedules, etc.
3. Maintain tax balances on general ledger.
4. Prepare all tax papers in regular basis and handle all information data requests.
5. Supervise and coach team members on business tax preparations.
6. Oversee the preparation and filing of all federal and state income tax returns.
7. Ensure the company meets all its statutory and compliance obligations, including statutory accounting and tax issues.
8. Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments, communicate the effects of these developments to management and the tax team.
9. Implement strategies that minimize corporate tax through use of tax laws and regulations.
10. Review tax returns and quarterly/yearly tax projections.
Job Details
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in a tax manager or public accountant role and at least 2 years of experience in a management role.
3. Deep understanding and knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
4. Proven experience with financial reporting, tax planning, and strategy implementation.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
6. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. High level of proficiency with tax preparation software and reporting tools.
9. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
10. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
