Our office is located in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois with 4 partners and 8 total employees currently. We provide tax, assurance/accounting and advisory services for our clients in the Chicagoland area and all across the United States.

Job Details
As our Senior Tax Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing the preparation and filing of all federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
2. Developing and implementing effective tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize tax savings.
3. Providing expert tax advice to senior management and other stakeholders, helping them to understand the tax implications of business decisions.
4. Leading and managing the tax team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
5. Conducting regular tax audits and reviews, identifying potential areas of risk and implementing corrective actions.
6. Staying up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and ensuring that these changes are effectively communicated and implemented within the organization.
7. Working closely with external auditors and tax consultants, ensuring that all tax-related information is accurately reported and documented.
8. Assisting with any tax-related disputes or inquiries, providing expert advice and support.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the position of Senior Tax Manager, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree in Taxation or a related field is preferred.
2. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required.
3. A minimum of three years of experience in a senior tax role, preferably within the finance industry.
4. In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and international tax laws and regulations.
5. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions based on complex tax information.
7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex tax information to non-tax professionals.
8. Proficiency in tax software and other relevant computer applications.
9. A high level of integrity, with the ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner.
