Job Details
As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing client tax returns and financial statements. You will be working with a team of professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional service to clients. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
- Review financial statements and provide tax planning advice to clients
- Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals
- Keep up-to-date with tax laws and regulations and provide guidance to clients accordingly
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and answer any questions they may have
- Use Quickbooks and CCH software to prepare tax returns and financial statements
- Work with public accounting firms to ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Assist in developing and implementing tax strategies for clients
- Participate in client meetings and presentations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA certification preferred, but not required
- 5+ years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
- Tax return preparation (1040, 1065, 1120, 990) experience
- Experience using QuickBooks and CCH software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage and mentor a team of tax professionals
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
