Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Tax Manager to join our fast-paced finance team. This is a permanent role that offers a great opportunity to lead and manage multiple operations of the tax practice area and to deliver quality tax services that will increase our firm's reputation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate tax audits.
- Prepare accurate quarterly and annual tax reports.
- Supervise and lead a team of junior tax consultants.
- Identify tax savings in prospective acquisition scenarios.
- Provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise to clients.
- Manage risk and financial performance of engagements including billing, collections and the project budgets.
- Work closely with partners and staff on client management, practice development, and business development activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. A Master’s degree in Taxation is a plus.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a public accounting firm.
- Proficient in corporate, individual, and partnership taxation.
- Experience with S-Corp and C-Corp taxation.
- In-depth knowledge of income tax, compliance, passthrough, and audit.
- Strong experience with federal tax planning, compliance, and preparation.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships.
