We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Senior Tax Manager to join our Corporate Tax Services team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients, providing innovative tax solutions and strategies. You will be a key player in our firm, leading the team to deliver exceptional tax services and ensuring our clients remain compliant with all tax regulations. This role is perfect for a proactive individual with a strong background in tax compliance, consulting, and a certified CPA.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Tax Manager, your duties will include but are not limited to:
1. Overseeing all aspects of corporate tax compliance, including preparing and reviewing complex tax returns, tax provisions, and tax audits.
2. Providing tax consulting services to clients, advising them on tax-efficient strategies and potential tax implications of business decisions.
3. Managing relationships with clients, understanding their business models, and identifying potential tax issues and solutions.
4. Leading and mentoring a team of tax professionals, fostering an environment of continuous learning and development.
5. Staying up-to-date with the latest tax regulations and laws, and ensuring the team's work is compliant with these changes.
6. Collaborating with other departments to ensure a holistic approach to client service delivery.
7. Actively participating in business development activities, including networking events and client presentations.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the role of Senior Tax Manager will have the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or higher in Taxation is preferred.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax compliance and consulting, preferably in a corporate setting or a public accounting firm.
4. Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
5. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team.
6. Exceptional client service skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Strong communication and presentation skills.
9. High level of integrity and professionalism.
10. Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
