ABOUT THE POSITION:
The Tax Senior Manager specializing in the Consumer Products Group will lead and manage multiple tax engagements to deliver high-quality tax services for our clients in the consumer products industry. This role demands extensive technical expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of tax regulations specific to the consumer products industry. The Tax Senior Manager will work closely with clients and internal teams to develop innovative tax strategies, ensure compliance, and drive business growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and oversee the preparation and review of complex federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and other entities in the consumer products industry.
Ensure all tax filings are accurate, timely, and comply with applicable tax laws and regulations.
Oversee the maintenance and management of tax records and documentation, ensuring thorough and accurate records are kept.
Lead tax planning initiatives and provide strategic tax advisory services to high-profile clients in the consumer products industry.
Identify and implement tax-saving opportunities and strategies to optimize clients' tax positions.
Conduct comprehensive research on complex tax issues and develop innovative solutions to address them.
Serve as the primary point of contact for major clients, developing and maintaining strong, trusted client relationships.
Gain a deep understanding of clients' business operations, industry-specific challenges, and strategic goals to deliver tailored tax advice.
Effectively communicate complex tax issues, strategies, and updates to clients.
Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of tax professionals, providing guidance, performance feedback, and career development opportunities while fostering a collaborative, high-performance team environment.
Develop and implement efficient tax processes and procedures to enhance accuracy, productivity, and client service.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA required.
Experience:
8+ years of experience in tax, with a focus on consumer products group industry.
Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
Proficient in using tax software and Microsoft Office applications.
Compensation:
Competitive annual salary in the range of $160,000 to $220,000 based on individual’s experience level.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with a CPA certification. Candidates should have over 8 years of experience in tax, particularly within the consumer products industry. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities are essential, along with excellent communication and client relationship skills. Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office applications is also required.
