Title: Senior Tax Manager with Partner/Equity Shareholder Track
Salary : $150k to $200k + Bonus
Schedule: In-office is preferred, but we are open to hybrid or fully-remote candidates. Busy Season Hours range from 50 hours to 60 hours per week.

This firm provides Advisory, Tax Compliance, and Accounting Services to small and mid-sized businesses across the country. Clients served are in the Real Estate, Construction, Manufacturing, and various other industries.

Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain effective client and staff relationships and actively participate in and manage client engagements – including presentations, planning, and execution.
- Prepare and review complex federal and multi-state tax returns and workpapers for individuals, partnerships, trusts, and corporations as well as estimated payments and extensions, and communicate directly with clients on various related matters.
- Proactively work with staff to ensure individual and business tax returns are completed accurately and on time while providing ongoing learning opportunities that encourage growth.
- Work with clients to gather relevant tax-related information from the client so an accurate tax return can be prepared.
- Conduct research and evaluate tax situations from various angles to ensure the maximum tax benefit is applied, enhancing business owner cash flows.
- Review and respond to federal and state inquiries and tax notices.
- Participate in collaboration between departments and alongside the executive team to ensure the firm continues its positive growth trajectory.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field as well as an active CPA license.
- Master's Degree a plus.
- 7 + years of relevant income tax experience with an advanced understanding of S-corp basis, partnership allocations, tax liability analysis, and planning.
- Advanced technical tax skills with a focus on pass-through entities and their principals, especially with real estate expertise in 1031s, TICs, QOZ/Fs, funds, and investment syndications.
- 1041 experience is a plus.
- High Net Worth experience.
- Business Advisory Skills
- Exceptional written and oral communications.
- Advanced technology proficiency with expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Recent experience using CCH ProSystems Fx or Axcess.
