Job Details
- Bachelors degree in accounting or finance.
- MBA or Active CPA.
- 8+ years’ experience in taxation compliance.
- Preparation and review of US GAAP ASC 740 income tax provision on a quarterly and annual basis to ensure compliance with ASC 740, FIN18/APB 28 and FIN 48, including assisting the Vice President with the coordination of the consolidated tax provision and related tax footnote disclosures.
- Collect, analyze and prepare all data required to file U.S. income tax return filings both federal and states, as well as sales and use, property, B&O and excise tax returns as applicable, being the first point of contact with external advisors and conduct detail return review.
- Identify tax efficiencies and process improvements with respect to various compliance processes.
- Manage and maintain notice logs, tax filing calendar and payments, leading external advisors with respect to timing of preparation of various filings to achieve on time filings.
- Preparation of all US information reporting and documentary requirements such as tax residency certificates, tax registrations, state and local sales tax exemption forms, Form 1099 reporting, etc.
- Preparation and assistance with preparation of FATCA forms, including Forms W9, W8BENE and W8IMY.
- Collect, analyze and prepare data required to file Group Form 1120F.
- Assist Vice President Tax with Federal, state and local direct and indirect tax audits.
