We’re Looking For A: Sr. Tax Analyst who will be responsible for executing various tasks regarding tax matters crucial to our tax compliance requirements and adherence to various taxing authorities’ rules and regulations. This role will prepare, research, and review periodic tax filings, review sales tax nexus, work with taxing authorities on tax audits, and work closely with outside tax consultants.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Maintain a comprehensive tax calendar for income taxes, sales tax, property tax, and various business license filings.
- Conduct assessments of US sales tax nexus and propose new registrations when thresholds are met.
- Evaluate international sales tax nexus, proposing new VAT/GST registrations as needed.
- Conduct research on tax exposure, encompassing both direct and indirect taxes, to support business expansion into new countries.
- Provide supporting documents to tax consultants, including monthly sales tax support and quarterly/annual income tax support.
- Review deliverables from tax consultants to uphold a timely tax calendar, covering income tax estimates, extensions, and tax returns.
- Prepare precise calculations for personal property tax files, business licenses, and other local tax filings.
- Assist in gathering information for audit requests from various taxing authorities.
- Update product tax codes in the ERP system to ensure accurate and up-to-date tax information.
- Maintain a comprehensive tax payment listing, including reconciliation of tax payable/receivable to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain organized tax return files, covering income tax returns, sales tax returns, and other local filings.
- Organize and distribute tax-related mail scanned from the treasury mailbox.
- Regularly communicate with internal teams and stakeholders regarding tax-related matters.
- Provide proactive updates on any changes in tax laws or regulations that may impact the organization.
- Provide support to the treasury team on ad hoc tasks and participate in other related projects as needed.
Preferred Qualifications (Note: These are preferred and not required. We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don’t tick ALL of these boxes.):
- 3+ years of experience in tax related position, ideally including 1+ years of indirect tax experience
- 2+ year of public accounting experience with national or Big 4 firm preferred
- Clearly convey information to team members regarding tax matters.
- Facilitate open communication channels to ensure smooth collaboration within the team.
- Articulate tax policies in a clear and understandable manner to individuals outside the treasury/tax department.
- Demonstrate the ability to promptly and accurately carry out tasks assigned by team members.
- Ensure adherence to established timelines and deadlines for task completion.
- Exhibit creativity and resourcefulness in identifying solutions to unforeseen challenges.
- Proactively address issues by proposing viable alternatives to ensure smooth operations.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Contribute positively to team dynamics, sharing knowledge and expertise for collective success.
- Enrolled Agent, CPA
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field

The anticipated salary range for this position is $81,900 - $109,000, plus annual & monthly KPI bonus potential.
Salary is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geographical location.
