Primary Responsibilities:
- Preparation of the US tax returns for the foreign affiliates and support of the overall compliance efforts, including preparation of international tax calculations for earnings & profits, foreign tax credits, GILTI, BEAT, FDII, Subpart F, as well as Forms: 5471, 8858, 8865 and Form 1118.
- Assisting with data collection efforts from Johnson & Johnson's approximately 500 foreign companies, including providing support to users of the JNJ system Global Tax Warehouse ("GTW") to facilitate the data gathering.
- Review of National / Local Corporate Income Tax Returns to assist in preparation of §905c Foreign Tax Credit re-computation efforts.
- Assisting with gathering of tax data in response to Information Document Requests ("IDRs") issued by the Internal Revenue Service ("IRS") as part of the federal income tax examination.
- Performing calculations of the tax provision for international operations for the periodic forecasting and quarterly reporting cycles.
- Drive ongoing process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support various ad-hoc tax planning and special project work.
- A minimum of bachelor's degree is required, preferably a major in Accounting or Finance.
- A CPA, CMA, JD, MBA, Masters of Tax, or other certifications are preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of prior work experience in a Corporate Income Tax or Public Accounting is required.
- Knowledge of US International tax concepts (GILTI, BEAT, FDII, Subpart F Income, foreign tax credits, earnings and profits, investment in US property, etc.) is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of US GAAP and income tax accounting principles is required.
- Self-directed individual with strong communication and partnering skills; strong analytical skills, time management, and prioritization skills are required.
- Ability to proactively identify and implement process improvements is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Corptax and Corptax International is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office Professional (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) is also required.
- This position will be located in New Brunswick, NJ and may require up to 10% travel.
The base pay range for this position is $73,000 to $117,300.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
