Perm Tax (Senior Tax) Accountant

Our client in Wellesley, Ma is a boutique tax CPA firm that is currently looking for tax accountants for a long-term position, with the potential to lead to a partnership opportunity.
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
* Must be detail-oriented and committed to their work.
* Must have a current, active CPA license or be in the process of obtaining it.
* Strong work ethic, accountability, punctuality, and the ability to work with urgency are crucial.
* Must be articulate and able to handle client communication directly.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation of complex business, trust, and individual tax returns.
* Managing direct communication with clients.
* Preparing financial statements and ad-hoc project requests.
* Supervising and reviewing tax return preparation for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
* Coordinating tax planning efforts during seasonal periods.
* Conducting tax research for both client-specific and internal staff needs.
* Ensuring operational excellence and engagement management.
* Expanding technical expertise through exposure to client interactions, especially high-net-worth individuals and business owners.
Qualifications:
* 3 to 5 years of experience in tax accounting.
* Bachelor's Degree required.
* A minimum of 2 years of public accounting experience is required.
* Knowledge of GAAP, advanced Excel skills, and experience with QuickBooks and CCH/Axcess software are preferred.
* Advanced knowledge of individual and business tax rules is preferred, with an understanding of recent tax law changes.

* Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience.
