Our company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Senior Tax Accountant to join our Finance team. This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a thriving and fast-paced environment, where your contributions will be visible and highly impactful. The Senior Tax Accountant will play a critical role in managing and coordinating tax planning, compliance, and reporting functions. This role requires an individual with a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations and a commitment to stay updated on the latest industry developments.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and review complex tax returns, including federal and state income tax, sales tax, and property tax returns.
Conduct research on tax laws and regulations, and ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws.
Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support.
Identify tax planning opportunities and suggest strategies to minimize tax liability.
Manage tax audits and inquiries by governmental authorities, and provide appropriate responses.
Keep up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and regulations, and inform management of significant changes that may impact the company.
Provide training and guidance to junior staff members on tax-related matters.
Participate in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
Assist in the development and implementation of tax strategies and policies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree in Taxation or a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is highly desirable.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a tax accountant role, preferably within the finance industry.
In-depth knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in tax preparation software and MS Office Suite.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts in a clear and concise manner.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently with minimal supervision.
