My client is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to manage and review a variety of tax projects, ensuring high-quality service and deliverables for their clients. This role requires strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills to ensure the timely and efficient completion of tax assignments.
Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and nonprofit organizations.
• Conduct tax planning and projections to support client needs.
• Perform tax research and resolve issues, including correspondence with tax authorities.
• Manage client information requests and ensure timely, accurate deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with filing deadlines for federal, state, and local tax returns.
• Maintain high quality standards throughout the tax process.
• Support special tax projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 2-3+ years of relevant experience in public accounting.
• Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations.
• Proficient in various software applications, including Adobe, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Strong research, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
• Attention to detail with strong organizational and planning skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative team player with a positive attitude.
