Job Details
A qualified candidate must be familiar with the preparation of Federal and State Corporation, S-Corporation, Partnership and Individual Income tax returns. This candidate will also be responsible for the preparation and analysis of a wide range of accounting and tax documents along with the preparation of supporting work papers and financial statements with minimal assistance. Experience with CCH ProSystemfx Tax is preferred as is a working knowledge of CCH ProSystem Engagement and QuickBooks. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills and will thrive in an environment that focuses on collaboration and personal growth.

Job Description
- Preparing annual review and compilation engagements, including development of supporting work papers and the preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax returns.
- Preparation, review and analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, statement of cash flows), management reports, budgets and special projects including preparation or review of supporting schedules for balance sheet and income statement accounts.
- Prepare Payroll and Sales tax returns
- Communicating and coordinating with clients, as well as vendors, bankers, insurance brokers, attorneys and other professionals.
- Projections, budgeting and other financial analysis including developing year-end tax planning strategies for entities and individuals.
- Responding quickly and accurately to internal and external requests.
- Researching and completing various client projects on a timely basis including accounting and tax issues through internal and external communications.
- Gathering of tax related information for tax preparation for HNW individual and corporate entities.
- Must enjoy working in a dynamic and collaborative team setting
- Must have an ability to prioritize and work both on their own and with other team members.
- Strong communication skills are required.
Required Skills
- 7+ years of Accounting and Tax Return preparation experience in an accounting firm
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting (CPA a plus but not required)
