Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Prepare workpapers for Federal, State and local income and franchise tax returns.
- Review federal and state tax returns prepared by the outside tax return provider.
- Prepare international returns – Forms 5471 and 8858.
- Prepare extension and quarterly estimated tax payments calculations and vouchers.
- Prepare various non-income tax returns.
- Provide support and analysis for federal and state audits.
- Prepare state apportionment workpapers.
- Assist with multi-state nexus review and state throwback analysis.
- Interface effectively with other members of the accounting department to ensure necessary tax information is efficiently generated and shared among compliance and provision teams.
- Conduct tax research using online tools and resources.
- Assist provision team with preparation of annual and quarterly worldwide tax provisions, including obtaining key data inputs from Teledyne business units.
- Continuously improve tax return preparation processes; specifically, the automation of key data inputs/processes.
- Assist the Director with special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Must be comfortable working 100% onsite
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting / Finance
- 3+ years of tax experience
