Role Overview

As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will play a vital role in supporting and maintaining accurate tax planning, financial reporting, and filings. You will collaborate internally and with external service providers, partnering closely with local divisions to ensure compliance and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Tax Provision Preparation:
  • Prepare quarterly and year-end tax provisions, including computations of book-to-tax differences and state tax calculations.
• Tax Filings Management:
  • Oversee and prepare property and sales tax filings, while maintaining the tax calendar for deadlines.
• Tax Research and Compliance:
  • Research federal and state tax issues, legislation, and transactions; prepare responses to tax notices from various jurisdictions.
• Process Improvement:
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline tax procedures and maintain accurate tax data records for efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in taxation, finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • 4+ years of experience in public accounting.
• Skills:
  • Expertise in ASC 740 and partnership tax matters.
