Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Senior Tax Accountant to join our dynamic finance industry team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in the field of tax accounting, with a minimum of 3 years of experience. This is a full-time position that offers competitive compensation and benefits packages.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates, and trusts
- Conduct tax research and provide guidance to clients on tax-related issues
- Assist with tax planning and strategy development for high-net worth individuals and businesses
- Review and analyze financial statements and other accounting records to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
- Identify and resolve tax-related issues and discrepancies
- Communicate with clients and other stakeholders to provide tax-related advice and support
- Manage and mentor junior staff members to ensure high-quality work and professional development
- Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations and provide guidance to clients accordingly
- Utilize CCH and CCH Prosystems to maximize efficiency and accuracy in tax preparation and filing processes
Qualifications:
- CPA or EA certification required
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax accounting
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including corporate tax returns, estate and trust taxes, and high-net worth individual taxes
- Experience with CCH and CCH Prosystems preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
