They are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join their team and contribute to the continued success of our organization. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for corporations and partnerships.
• Analyze financial data to calculate tax estimates, provisions (ASC 740), and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with tax deadlines, including extensions, estimates, and filings.
• Research and interpret tax law changes and communicate findings to leadership.
• Assist with audits, respond to tax notices, and gather information for various reporting requirements (e.g., Form 1099-MISC, Form 1099-DIV).
• Participate in professional groups and leadership activities for ongoing growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in federal and state taxation, including preparation and review of corporate and partnership tax returns (real estate industry experience is a plus).
• Strong project management, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

This is a HYBRID position based near Downers Grove, IL. This role requires 3 days onsite/2 days WFH.
