This role requires an individual with a strong understanding of tax accounting, financial accounting, and tax law.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review corporate tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws
- Conduct tax research and provide tax advisory services to the organization
- Implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize tax credits
- Prepare financial statements and financial reports
- Conduct financial analysis to support business decision making
- Perform account reconciliation and bookkeeping tasks
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
- Assist with tax audits and respond to tax authorities inquiries
- Use accounting software to maintain financial records and prepare reports
- Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations and ensure that the organization is in compliance
- Assist with tax planning and forecasting activities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax accounting, financial accounting, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
- Experience in preparing and reviewing corporate tax returns
- Proficiency in financial analysis and financial reporting
- Strong understanding of tax accounting and financial accounting principles
- Experience with accounting software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or in progress of getting CPA is preferred.
